Utility Consumption    

 
 

House Bill 3693 (Government Code § 2264.001 (b)) requires the City to publish consumption and payment information for various utility services used by the City.  In compliance with this requirement, the following consumption information is being provided for the 2008 calendar year:

The City of Watauga purchases electricity from Direct Energy and Tri-County.  In calendar year 2009, the City purchased a total of 2,446,254 kWh.

The City of Watauga purchases natural gas from Atmos Energy.  In calendar year 2009, the City purchased a total of 1,124 Mcf.

The City of Watauga is a municipal water provider.  The City of Watauga purchases water from The City of North Richland Hills.  In calendar year 2009, the City used a total of 2,315,058 cu. ft. of water. 

The total cost of natural gas, electricity and water purchased by the City in the calendar year 2009 is $326,243.01.
