2010 SUMMER READING CLUB

June 1st - August 12th

The Watauga Public Library's Summer Reading Club Program is here! The theme for this year is, "Catch the Reading Express". From the exciting kick-off to the grand finale, this year's club is packed full of artistic, scientific, and performance fun! Children ages 2-12 years are eligible to participate, and all programs are free of charge. No registration is required for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday programs.  Reading Clubs are also available for teens and adults as well.  For more information, call (817) 514-5865.
 

Reading Requirements:

All materials read to a child or by a child between June 1 - August 14, 2010 will count toward the reading goal of 25/100.

Reading Logs:

All reading logs must be turned in by August 14, 2010 at 5 p.m.  Reading Log sheets can be picked up at the Reference Desk.

Prizes:

A fun prize will be given for every 5 hours read.  Prizes are subject to change due to availability.

Reading Milestones:

  25 hours: Texas Reading Club Certificate
100 hours:  A book in your honor will be placed in the library

The 2009 Texas Reading Club is sponsored by the Watauga Public Library and the Texas State Library and Archives Commission
