In Case of Emergency (ICE) Campaign

Many individuals, including teenagers, leave the home each day without any identification or emergency contact information, yet they carry a cell phone.   A campaign has begun to encourage cell phone users to program an In Case of Emergency contact (ICE for short) into their mobile phones.

Simply add an entry in the contact list in your cell phone under ICE with the name and phone number of the person who should be contacted during an emergency.  For more than one contact name, simply enter ICE1, ICE2 and ICE3, etc.  It can save valuable time, since many people identify family members only by name in their phone, making them indistinguishable from other entries.
