Bring your friends, family, and neighbors to Watauga’s 3rd annual, Hometown Christmas Celebration & Tree Lighting Event on Saturday, December 7 at Capp Smith Park. This festive, outdoor event will be sure to entertain all ages with multiple attractions like the Tree Lighting Ceremony, Performances by Local Dance and Choir Groups, Vendors, Food, and Inflatables! Make sure to bring your camera to capture pictures of Santa. While you’re there, snap your family’s 2019 Holiday Photo inside our Inflatable Snow Globe!

  • Take pictures with your family & friends inside the giant, Inflatable Snow Globe.

Tree Lighting, Santa & Live Reindeer

  • Christmas Carolers will be strolling the park throughout the event for pictures & visits. Please bring your own camera/phone to take pictures.
  • Take pictures with the live reindeer from 5:00 - 8:00 PM.
  • The tree lighting ceremony will start at 6:30 PM.
  • Free Santa Visits at the North Pole starting approximately at 5:30 PM. Bring your own camera/phone.
