Annual Utility Consumption Report

House Bill 3693 (Government Code § 22651 (b) ) requires the City to publish consumption and payment information for various utility services used by the City. In compliance with this requirement, the following consumption information is being provided.

Utility Consumption Report 2017

The City of Watauga purchases natural gas from Atmos Energy. In Calendar Year 2017, the City purchased a total of 1,583.5 thousand cubic feet (MCF) of natural gas.

The City of Watauga purchases electricity from Gexa Energy and Tri-County Electric. In Calendar Year 2017, the City purchased a total of 2,361,628 kilowatt hours.

The City of Watauga is a municipal water provider. The City of Watauga purchases water from North Richland Hills. In Calendar Year 2017 the City consumed a total of 2,579,952 cu.ft. of water.

The total cost of natural gas, electricity and water purchased by the City in the Calendar Year 2017 is $465,373.94.
