The Watauga Police Department Command Staff is comprised of the Chief of Police, the Assistant Chief of Police, and Two Lieutenants.
Chief of Police - Robert Parker
Chief Parker was sworn in as the Chief of Police for the City of Watauga Police Department on July 24, 2017. Chief Parker has over 23 years of experience in Law Enforcement.
Assistant Chief of Police - Keith Hartman
Chief Hartman oversees the day to day operations of the Police Department and assists in preparing the departmental budget. He has over 17 years experience in Law Enforcement.
Operations Lieutenant - Marty Galchutt
Lieutenant Galchutt has over 25 years experience in Law Enforcement. He is currently over the operations division of the Watauga Police Department and oversees: Patrol, Traffic/Motors, K-9 and Animal Control.
Administrative Lieutenant - Jason Babcock
Lieutenant Babcock has been with the City of Watauga Police Department for more than 19 years; as the Administrative Lieutenant he oversees the Criminal Investigations Division, Professional Standards and Training Division, School Resource Officer and Police Chaplains.
