    The Homework Help Center is open during the school year and offers help with homework at no charge to students in 1st-6th grades. Parents must register students at the Library. Registration forms are available at the Youth Services Desk. Volunteers aged 16 to adult, especially those bilingual in English/Spanish and English/Vietnamese, are needed for the Homework Help Center.

    The VIPS program is designed to allow citizens of the City of Watauga to work with the Police Department by donating volunteer hours. We currently accept volunteers for the following: -Court Security and Assistance -Citizens on Patrol (requires completion of Citizens Police Academy Class) We are looking to expand our program to offer the following: -911 Telecommunications -Jail/Detention -Records -CID (investigations) -Crime Victim Liaison
